Last year's beaten All Ireland finalists Donegal take on Micky Harte's Tyrone in Ballybofey.

The game represents Rory Gallagher's first Championship match in charge of Donegal, but he's assured the natives that life after Jim McGuinness won't be al that different.

Throw in at MacCumhail Park is at 4, and it's preceded by the Minor first round meeting of the counties.

There's also quarter final action in Connacht, with Leitrim taking on Galway at Páirc Sean Mac Diarmada.

Throw-in in that one is at 3.30.

Before it, Galway and Mayo meet in the final of the Connacht Junior Championship, with throw-in at half-past-1.

And after last night's brace of first round games, there's further action in Leinster this afternoon.

Louth face Westmeath in Drogheda where there's a 3.30 start and Wexford awaiting the winners.
