16 people are in the running for the position of Head of Operations of Clare GAA.
Chairman Kieran Keating outlined the news at last evenings July meeting of the county board, with today being the deadline for applications.

The meeting heard that Croke Park will process the applications before providing a shortlist of candidates, with Clare GAA having the final say on the preferred applicant.
It was also announced that current vice-secretary Deirdre Chaplin will assume the role of acting secretary on a voluntary basis in the interim.
