On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Margaret McMahon, Newmarket-on-Fergus native and Director of Clare Samaritans.
This coming Sunday is World Suicide Prevention Day.
The day of awareness, which was first introduced by the International Association of Suicide Prevention (IASP), is always observed on the 10th of September every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world since 2003.
The theme for 2023 is Creating Hope through Action.
