On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Trish Cleary who is one of the original organizers of the Festival of Finn along with Saundra O’Brien who is the World Stone Throwing Champion in the Festival of Finn Competition. Trish looked ahead to the upcoming Festival of Finn which is set to take place from Friday 28th April to Monday 1st May. She placed attention on the history of the festival and mentioned where the idea of the festival originated from. Saundra outlined the various events and activities that people can partake in throughout the weekend. She highlighted the importance of the renowned stone throwing competition in which she is the current reigning champion. They also gave an introduction into how the competition works and how you can practice beforehand.
