Irish yachtswoman, Joan Mulloy is planning to be the first woman to complete the Solitaire du Figaro, a solo, multi-stage race spanning the length of the French coast from the Mediterranean to the North Atlantic Ocean.
She does this to promote the ‘Taste the Atlantic – A Seafood Journey’ project with Bord Iascaigh Mhara. Taste the Atlantic is a seafood trail developed with Fáilte Ireland designed to bring awareness to how Irish seafood is sustainably caught and farmed along the Wild Atlantic Way.
