Leaving Cert students in Clare will receive their results on Monday morning.
However, West Clare councillors issued a joint statement having been made aware of plans for results parties planned in coastal communities. The statement from councillors’ Joe Garrihy, Joe Killeen, Shane Talty and Cillian Murphy warned that they had been made aware of plans by a large influx of young people intending to use family holiday homes and mobile homes in coastal resorts to hold leaving cert results parties next week.
Towns like Lahinch and Kilkee have already been subjected to problems with anti-social behaviour, littering and parties. Will there be further problems next week?
