Tributes Paid To Much Loved Former Ennis Publican Paddy Brogan

On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, tributes were paid to Paddy Brogan who ran Brogan’s Bar and Restaurant on O’Connell Street in Ennis for 35 years. Councillor Mary Howard and Clare Chair of the VFI Charlie O’Meara paid tribute to the much loved former publican. Mary and Charlie both recalled their fondest memories of Paddy and described the type of character that he was. They spoke about the role he played in Brogan’s Bar & Restaurant which made him a popular figure around Ennis and beyond.

His funeral mass is set to take place at the Cathedral Church in Ennis at 2pm on Wednesday 24th of May and his burial will take place later that evening in Oldcourt cemetery, Doneraile, Co Cork.
