On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Deirdre O’Shea who is the Head Of Tourism in Clare County Council. Deirdre discussed the ‘Be a Tourist in Your Own County Clare’ initiative which is aimed at promoting the quality tourism product available in County Clare to the domestic market ahead of the peak tourism season. She encouraged the people of Clare to partake in the initiative which offers free and half price admission to local popular tourist attractions in Clare on Sunday 23rd April. She described the idea which will see local people become ambassadors for our county and will lead them to appreciate the array of attractions in the county.
