TASC Aim To Put Socio-Economic Rights At Centre Of Clare’s Future

On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Sarah Clancy who is a Co-ordinator with Clare Public Participation Network. Sarah discussed the upcoming free workshops which are set to be hosted by TASC in May that will aim to place people’s socio-economic rights at the core of planning the county’s future. She mentioned the key funding TASC received in collaboration with Clare County Council and Clare Local Development Company which will assist in planning for the future through workshops and consultation. She emphasized the importance of the concepts of the plan set out which intends to address what is a ‘just transition’ and what this will mean for Clare. Sarah stated that any information gathered at the upcoming workshops in May will be used to help shape and develop local policies.
Dates for the workshops are set to be announced shortly.
