Summer Provision- Why It’s Not Working So Well For Clare Schools

This month sees the summer provision educational programme take place for children with additional needs across Clare.

Previously known as July provision, the programme is targetted to deliver tuition for children who have special educational needs and attend mainstream schools or special schools across the county.

Recently on Morning Focus, the Minister of State with Responsibility for Disabilities Anne Rabbitte encouraged schools across County Clare to consider running the summer provision programme on school grounds instead of individual teachers or special needs assistants delivering the programme at a student’s home.
