On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Michelle Marley, daughter of Mariea Marley. Mariea Marley is a 73 year old grandmother, who is a dialysis patient. She had to spend 55 hours on a trolley at University Hospital Limerick and now says she would be very reluctant to go to A&E in the future.
Michelle first outlined the circumstances which led to her mother having to attend the A&E.

She later highlighted that it was a very difficult time for her mother. Michelle conveyed her own disappointment with the lack of staff and the overall health care system that is in place.
