On Tuesday’s Morning Focus Alan was joined live in studio by Seán Shannon.
Seán is an exceptionally talented self-taught pianist from Ennis and is set to feature in a new documentary series that will air on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
‘Face The Music’ is a 3-part series that follows a number of gifted students and their teachers at the Royal Irish Academy of Music during a pivotal year in its 175-year history.
Viewers will be able to see the story of 18 year-old Seán who taught himself to play on his sister’s toy piano as a child by watching Youtube videos.
