Scoil Mhuire Ennistymon Set To Celebrate 90 Years In Existence

On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Principal of Scoil Mhuire Ennistymon, Seosaimhín Uí Dhomhnalláin who has worked at the school for over 40 years. Alan also spoke to Mary McGlennon who is an English, History and Irish teacher, Mary O’Loghlin who is a retired PE and music teacher and Leaving Certificate student, Niamh Lernihan also joined the chat.
Scoil Mhuire Ennistymon are set to host a series of events to mark 90 years in existence before closing it’s doors. Seosaimhín discussed the history of Scoil Mhuire Ennistymon which was established in 1925 and looked ahead to some of the upcoming events being organised by the school. Mary O’Loghlin described her experience of developing music and art in the school and the positive atmosphere that was attached to the school. Niamh also made reference to her positive experience throughout her time in the school and hopes for a great send off in the upcoming events.
Events include a Celebration Mass on Monday 24th April at 11.30 at Ennistymon Parish Church and a Gala Concert on Thursday 1st June featuring students of the past and present and the school choir.
