On Thursdays Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey spoke to Seamus Connolly The Deputy Director of Samaritans Festival’s. Seamus has participated with the Samaritans as a branch volunteer for 8 years with the Drogheda Branch.
Seamus outlines the roles that the Festival Branch of Samaritans will have during the Lisdoonvarna Festival. He explains that Samaritans will have an active role in being available for face to face conversation’s with people who maybe having an emotionally difficult time, and are seeking help.
The Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival begins on Friday the 3rd of September and ends on Thursday the 30th of September.
