Ryanair And Aer Lingus To Ground Shannon Flights

At a meeting of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communication, both Ryanair and Aer Lingus announced that they couldn’t commit to reopening their bases at Shannon Airport in 2021, unless travel restrictions are eased.

Ryanair will not fly from Shannon between November 4th and December 12th at least; while Aer Lingus does not expect to operate its London Heathrow route until at least April 2021.
