SeniorLine, the national telephone service for older people, has seen a rise in male callers this year—from 23% in 2024 to 32% so far in 2025.
Loneliness and mental health concerns top the list of reasons for calling, with the service welcoming the shift as a sign that more men feel comfortable asking for help.
