On Tuesday’s Morning Focus Pat Flynn spoke to festival coordinator Katie Cogan about the upcoming Rekindle- Festival of Lost Skills which is set to take place on Sunday May 14th from 12 to 5pm on Parliament Street in Ennistymon.
The festival, which is in its second year, has been described as ‘an intergenerational festival of lost skills celebrating and showcasing the knowledge of older people in our communities that can help us all to live a truly sustainable life’.
Some of the skills showcased in 2022 included pen making, Aran knitting, rope making, boat building and basket making. Admission is free and tickets can by accessed by visiting http://ourcommonknowledge.org/
