Father Harry Bohan is a native of Feakle, County Clare. He has ministered as a priest in the diocese of Killaloe for fifty-seven years and continues to do so in the parish of Sixmilebridge, Kilmurry.
He qualified as a sociologist in 1966 which cemented his life-long commitment to the development of Irish society and rural society in particular.
Fr Bohan has a new publication ‘Rearing The Future’ which is filled with his reflections on Irish Society and its institutions during and post the Covid-19 pandemic. Fr. Harry examines the impact the pandemic has had on the Church, but also asks us to reflect on the challenges the pandemic poses to each and every one of us.
