Poor Sleeping Patterns Affecting Elite Athletes

They aim for perfection on the pitch but, elite GAA players may be scuppering their chances by not getting enough sleep.

A sleep study conducted on 69 of the top players in Ireland showed that half of them are ‘poor sleepers’.

Michelle is a chartered physio therapist with a practice in Gort and a potential PhD candidate at UL. She came onto Morning Focus to discuss the study with Gavin.
