They aim for perfection on the pitch but, elite GAA players may be scuppering their chances by not getting enough sleep.
A sleep study conducted on 69 of the top players in Ireland showed that half of them are ‘poor sleepers’.

Their sleeping patterns can be compromised by early and late night training sessions, travel, caffeine intake, work, academic commitments, stress, and much more, says author Michelle Biggins.
