On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Brid Fahy of Café Linella on the Flaggy Shore. Brid discussed the upcoming poetry walk on the Flaggy Shore which is taking part of the Fleadh na Cuach Festival in Kinvarra and Wellness Month in the Burren. The walk is set to take place on Monday 1st of May at 5pm and will begin from Café Linella and will finish at Linnanes Lobster bar in Kinvarra. Brid described the connection between many Irish poets and the Flaggy Shore and mentioned the way in which the Irish coastline has inspired them. She believes that the walk is a way of commemorating many Irish poets and their work. Brid also outlined the series of events that will take place at the Fleadh Na Cuach Festival in Kinvarra.
