On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Stephen Murphy who is a poet who is originally from Leitrim. Stephen discussed his career and life to date and described the importance of poetry to himself which he views as a way of getting to express his mind to other people. He mentioned the various venues and events that he has performed at and highlighted the various methods he uses in order to capture an audiences attention. He spoke about the positive feedback he receives from connecting with his audiences and made reference to some of the most powerful advice he received as a teenager. Stephen also previewed his upcoming poetry performance which is set to take place at Fiddle & Bow in Dolin this Saturday at 25th March at 8pm.
