On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Niall Breslin or as many of you might know him as Bressie.
He is well known as the front-man with The Blizzards and is also a bestselling author, among other things, but he has become just as renowned for his work as a mental health advocate.
Bressie is bringing his podcast ‘Where is My Mind?’ to Clare later this year. He will perform a live version of the podcast at Glór on Friday, the 3rd of November.
Bressie discussed his experience with panic attacks and highlighted how emotionally draining disguising these attacks were.
He also spoke about how his own mental health opened his eyes to the lack of mental health services for others in Ireland. This led him to contribute massively to aid those with their own mental health struggles.
Bressie outlined what the podcast consists of and explained that it is a safe space for guests and others to listen and talk about their own mental health.
