Organ Donor Awareness Week is running until Saturday, the 30th of April.
On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by a family from Killaloe in Clare, Nuala Conway, her son Jayden Conway and his step-dad Denis Conway.
Nuala spoke about her son Jayden who is on kidney dialysis daily and is living without both of his kidneys. His stepfather Denis is currently being screened for suitability as an organ donor.
