One Year On From The General Election – How Are The Government Faring?

This day last year, the public was headed to the polls to vote in the General Election.

365 days later and it’s impossible to think that mere weeks later such a vote would have been impossible as the country was placed into lockdown.

The 33rd Dáil have faced immeasurable difficulties in their first year – but how have they fared?

Within the first 67 days, three different TD’s were appointed Minister for Agriculture.

The government dealt with scandals such as #GolfGate and the errors in the Leaving Certificate calculated grades.

Currently, they’re dealing with delays to their COVID-19 vaccine roll-out programme and delays to the introduction of legislation for mandatory quarantine.

Where have they fallen down? Where have they impressed? And, where do they need to improve?
