On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Pat Flynn was joined by Councillor Joe Garrihy. Obair is a social enterprise based in Newmarket on Fergus and has been in existence since 1993. Obair’s Meals on Wheels service began in 2010 and has since grown to cover many areas in county Clare. This evening Obair are set to host an open evening in Lisdoonvarna.
Joe discussed how the Meals on Wheels service was founded. He also highlighted the hard work Obair dedicates towards the service.
The open evening will take place at the Pavillion building in Lisdoonvarna at 7pm and will cost €6 for a fantastic and nutritious meal. He told us what will take place at the open evening and what they hope to achieve from it.
