On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined live in studio by Sarah Lynch and Fiona Duggan, organisers of the 2023 Newmarket-on-Fergus Tractor Run.
Sarah and Fiona discussed the origins of the Tractor Run which started as part of the 2015 Agricultural Show and now runs as a fully independent event due to it’s large growth.
Sarah outlined the aim of this year’s Tractor Run is to raise funds for Down Syndrome Clare.
Fiona highlighted the route of the Tractor Run, vintage tractors which will be taking part and how children can get involved with the Kiddies Tractor Race!
The event, which is sure to attract a big crowd will take place this Sunday the 17th of September and all funds raised will go towards a good cause.
