German film crews will be descending on Kilkee next month to begin filming on a production for one of Germany’s largest broadcsters.

The title of this film translates as Clueless in Ireland, and it will begin shooting in Kilkee on July 22nd – It’s being made by an Irish production company, Treehouse Media, for one of Germany’s largest TV channels, ARD.
