The National Adult Literacy Agency have launched a new website www.helpmykidlearn.ie in an attempt to stop children from experiencing the ‘Summer Slide’ during the Summer holidays, which is when they start to lose some of the learning gains they have made during the school year due to lack of suitable mental and physical activities.
