On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Lisa O’Sullivan, Historian and Chairperson of the Kilrush and District Historical Society . Lisa discussed The Manchester Martyrs Monument in Kilrush.
She dived into the origin and history of the statue and the meaning behind the monument. She also explained how the funds for the statue were raised by the public.
