On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Colm Liddy, local historian and author. On this week’s edition of Townlands in Focus, Colm discussed Mooghaun Hillfort And The Bronze Age In Clare.
Colm explained where to find the hidden monument that is Mooghaun Hillfort and highlighted that it is over 3000 years old. He also stated that during the bronze age, the civilization of Mooghaun turned against each other and it played a massive part in the collapse of the Mooghaun population.
