Presentation On The Life Of Conor O’Brien Set To Take Place In Killaloe

In June 1923, Conor O’Brien became the first Irish amateur sailor to sail around the world. The Limerick man also had strong connections to the O’Brien/Brien Boru history in Killaloe and Clare.

The presentation is due to take place next week in the Lakeside Hotel Ballroom and is being hosted by Killaloe Sailing Club and Killaloe-Ballina Local History Society.
