This week on Morning Focus Alan was joined once again by Petrina O’Halloran, Founder of BirthandBeyond.ie to chat about Maternity Leave options.
Petrina has set up an uplift page to gather signatures to bring to Roderic O’Gorman, Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth of Ireland. Petrina believes that there needs to be a review of the current maternity leave policy and that Maternity Leave should be increased to 12 months while paid leave should be increased to 10 months and that a shared Maternity Leave allocation between both parents should be offered.
