The world is reacting to the death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth the Second, who died peacefully at Balmoral on Thursday September 8th at the age of 96.
On Friday’s Morning Focus Alan was joined by Broadcaster Stephen Fletcher, originally from the UK, now living in Kilrush to reflect on the mood of the nation. Michael Hanrahan also joined the chat. Michael who is from Dublin but resides in Lahinch was appointed by the Irish Government as the official artist for the historic Royal visit of Queen Elizabeth to Ireland. Three of his paintings hang in Buckingham Palace.
