The hugely popular fundraising event, ‘Swim in Pink’, celebrates its fifth anniversary this year.
Organised by the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) in association with Blackrock Beachwear, it has been an incredible success since its beginning in 2020.
Taking place this month as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event encourages participants across the country to dip, swim, or splash in support of breast cancer research.
As part of the event, Ann O’Halloran has organised a swim in Kilkee on Saturday, the 11th of October to raise vital funds for breast cancer research.
Ann has been through her own journey with breast cancer. She joined Alan Morrissey to share her story.
