October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Christine Franks was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy at the age of 19.

A bake sale evening for breast cancer will take place next week in Quin on Tuesday 22nd from 7-9pm.

To discuss this in more detail, Alan Morrissey was joined by the organiser of the bake sale, Joanne Quinntuite and Christine Franks.
