Jackie recently published her memoir, ‘We Made It, Kid’, described as “compelling, heartfelt and inspiring”.
The book certainly has a lot to cover: from Jackie being born to an Irish mother and Jamaican father in the UK, then being placed in an industrial school as a baby by a priest for being an “illegitimate” and so much more besides.
