The local business community in Ennis have joined forces with Clare County Council for the Christmas programme in the County Town.
As part of efforts to highlight the attractiveness of Ennis as a shopping destination this festive season, a host of markets, music and other events will be taking place over the Christmas period.

It all kicks off with the switching on of the Christmas lights later today.
Alan Morrissey was joined in-studio by Mayor of Ennis, Claire Colleran Molloy and Senior Engineer of Clare County Council, Seán Lenihan.
