On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan went on a trip to Tulla and set up camp in Cnoc Na Gaoithe, Tulla Comhaltas Cultural Centre. Alan was joined by a number of guests including the Cathaoirleach Of Clare County Council Tony O’Brien and local political representatives Pat Hayes and Joe Cooney.
Alan also spoke with Breda McNamara from Cnoc na Gaoithe Centre and representatives from Tulla Drama Group Pat McNamara and Tulla GAA’s Aisling Hunt along with Valarie Hogan from Tulla Camogie. Patrick Murphy from the St. Patrick’s Pipe Band also chatted to Alan as did Joan Culoo McNamara from the Tulla Courthouse.
Also attending Cnoc na Gaoithe were Deirdre Duff from the Tulla Scouts 12th Clare, Tim Humphries of Tulla Tidy Towns and Kerry Collins of the Tulla Market. To conclude the show Sarah Fox and Mary Corry performed a song on the fiddle and piano respectively.
