On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Morning Focus listener Helen McGrath from Mullagh. Recently on Morning Focus, we asked you if you had a family heirloom or prized possession which meant a lot to you. After receiving a significant amount of texts and phone calls, we invited some people into studio to discussed their most prized family possessions. Helen McGrath from Mullagh was invited into the studio and discussed her significant interest in her family tree along with describing the various family connections that she has in America. She took us through the various prized family possessions she brought into studio her which included a letter dated back as far as famine times along with a diploma from 1893.
