On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Pat Flynn was joined by Helga Himmelsbach, Helga has recently lost her husband Jerry O’Connor due to a tragic road collision. Helga and Jerry ran the Burren Wellness Centre together.
Helga described what type of person Jerry was and how he lit up the room the moment he stepped foot in it. She highlighted his generosity, caring characteristics and the impact he had on his friends, family and even those he had only just met.
She explained that she received so much support from the community, friends and family and she hopes for more implementations of road safety features in order to prevent anymore future accidents.
