On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Morning Focus listener Mary who lives in Tulla, Mary Howard who is a Fine Gael Councillor from Ennis and Shane Talty who is a Fine Gael Councillor from Ennistymon. The trio discussed the issue of dog fouling in County Clare and urged dog owners to take responsibility and clean up after their dog. Morning Focus listener Mary who previously spoke about the matter on Morning Focus highlighted that this issue is still ongoing in her local area and has seen little improvement. Mary Howard discussed the various initiatives that have been put in place by Clare County Council in order to curb the issue. Shane Talty discussed how crucial it is for education to be provided on dog fouling and encouraged dog owners to take responsibility.
