During the summer Morning Focus broadcast live from Derg Isle Adventure Centre in Scariff.
One of the guests on the show was Padraig Giblin, the owner of the Adventure Centre. The Centre is nestled along the western shores of Lough Derg and within Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.While there, Padraig kindly offered to take us on a boat trip on Lough Derg at some stage, to see the white-tailed sea eagles that nest nearby. The white-tailed sea eagles are one of the largest birds of prey and one of the most impressive birds in the world.
