As part of International Women's Day a public discussion took place in Ennis entitled – "The Human Pricetag" which focused on issues of prostitution and human trafficing. Guest Speaker Mia de Faoite was 33 when drug problems lead her to take to the streets as a prostitute to pay for her heroin habit. She told her story to Clare FM's John Cooke.
