Farm Safety Week 2019 is underway.
Despite continued efforts to promote the best safe practice and reduce serious injuries and fatalities on the farm, farming continues to prove the most treacherous occupation in this country.
As in the case every year, a number of events and promotions are being held right around Ireland to promote farm safety.
