Member Of The Fógues Discusses Current Tour Of Munster And Clare Visit

On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Micheál Fogarty who is a member of the Fógues. Micheál discussed the history of the Fógues who are a four-piece folk/ballad group from Mitchelstown in County Cork. He spoke their current tour of Munster which will see them take to County Clare later this week. He described the genres of music that the group sing and play and highlighted their variation of music as one of the reasons why the group are so unique. He also mentioned the album they released in 2020 which composed of 14 tracks. Micheál looked ahead to the Fógues upcoming gig which will take place in Cnoc Na Gaoithe Comhaltas Cultural Centre in Tulla on Saturday March 25th as part of their tour of Munster.
