Last July, we heard from the Madden family on their decision to close Madden’s Furniture store on Station Road and bring an end to a near half century of existence.

A new chapter will begin at the premises, when McDermott’s Furniture & Interior opens this Friday.
On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined live in-studio by David Haugh, Manager of McDermott’s House Furnishers.
