On Monday, Alan Morrissey paid a visit to Hotel Woodstock for The Clare Older People’s Volunteer Of The Year Award. The awards took place on Monday afternoon. This years award was eagerly anticipated, with twelve nominees in the running for the overall award. The Volunteer Of The Year Award went to Marie Moloney, who is the founding member of the Clare Branch of the Alzheimer’s Society. Alan caught up with Marie after she won the award to find out exactly what winning this accolade means to her.
