This year’s Lollipop Day takes place today and tomorrow.
Volunteers will be out in force at 80 locations nationwide, selling lollipops to raise vital funds for The Oesophageal Cancer Fund (OCF).

The collection points include Shannon Town Centre and Ennis Town Centre in Clare. If you can’t get to a collection point you can donate at www.ocf.ie.
Alan Morrissey spoke with Conor Davoren. Conor is a teacher living in Kilnaboy who is in recovery from oesophageal cancer, having been diagnosed at just 32.
Conor is a firm supporter of the Oesophageal Cancer Fund and Lollipop Day.
