On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Monica Spencer, coordinator of Local Creative Youth Partnership. For almost four years they have been working with Clare County Childcare Committee and Clare Libraries in developing storytelling with very young children.
Monica highlighted the importance of being told stories from a young age and how it helps to expand a child’s imagination. It is hoped to gather these stories directly from families living in Clare – those connected to the region for some time as well as those families who have moved to Clare in recent years, before July 15th.
